Throughout his NFL career, Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow has had to endure some poor offensive line play.
The Bengals have struggled to put together a solid pass-blocking unit up front and that in turn has forced Burrow into some unfortunate injury situations.
Although Burrow’s been better in recent years about maneuvering around pressure, the 2023 NFL season has been more of the same as he’s taken more sacks than the team would like.
Things came to a head in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens as Burrow suffered a wrist injury that forced him out of the game.
It was later announced that the Pro Bowler suffered a torn ligament in his wrist and would miss the remainder of the season.
After enduring another season-ending injury, Joy Taylor called out the Bengals for failing to protect their franchise quarterback via Speak.
“The Bengals have refused to protect Joe Burrow,” Taylor said.

Cincinnati has tried to address its offensive line woes through the NFL Draft and free agency, but to no avail.
Taylor makes a damning point when she says that the Bengals’ highest pass-blocking grade since Burrow entered the league was 25th.
Fans have had to hold their breath numerous times over the years every time Burrow goes down after a sack, and despite his toughness, his body can’t seem to handle too much punishment.
Without Burrow, Cincinnati’s chances of winning a championship are basically out the window and the franchise will have to put some serious thought into how to prevent this from happening again.
